Lelive Cafe

The design challenge was to capture a South African brand in a coffee microroastery and cafe. This called for an in-depth brand analysis. The Lelive cafe's aesthetic features a calming, muted colour scheme complemented by the tactile richness of natural materials like wood, plaster, and artisanal clay tiles. This minimalist design fosters a peaceful environment, encouraging community and connection. The design concept for the space drew inspiration from the distinctive aloe plant, particularly its unique leaf form. The serrated edges with thorns inform a key architectural feature: arched doors along the outdoor patio area.
